FLINT – There was an explosion at Hamady High School Friday night.
It was courtesy of the Hawks’ offense.
Host Hamady beat Atherton 113-46 to record the most points by a Flint-area team this season.
The previous high was 109 by Beecher Jan. 13, also against Atherton.
Sean Byrd led the Hawks with 24 points, Amari’yunn Blythe added 20 and Warren Cain chipped in 12.
Hamady raised its record to 10-1. Atherton fell to 4-9.
