Rip the Runway, you better watch out! Rayonna Smith is ready to strut her brand in the world of fashion. Hamady High School senior, Rayonna Smith, enjoyed her first opportunity to show off her designs during a fashion show event at the Flint Farmers Market. Rayonna, a 17-year-old entrepreneur, displayed her line of fashion at the Jer DeCor 7th Annual Black Out Runway Show held on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Rayonna is the owner and founder of Ray's Royalty Clothing for which she designs urban streetwear. Rayonna described how she felt about the event, "I have always dreamed of being a designer, but I had no clue where to start." Rayonna became motivated by her grandmother who used to sew. In 2016, they began taking sewing lessons together. "I learned so much!"
