Hamady students attend MICHAuto symposiumStudents from Hamady High School’s Jobs for Michigan Graduates Program took a trip to the Motor City in October to gather information about career opportunities in logistics and transportation. The MICHAuto symposium event offers students the opportunity to explore future career opportunities with leaders working in the industry.

Hamady students were able to have conversations about the future of the automotive, mobility and technology fields and were able to talk about how the industry is rapidly changing from decades past. Young people do not often realize that the industry has shifted toward more and better technology applications in our vehicles.

Jobs for America’s Graduates (JMG) is a grant-funded youth opportunity program at Hamady Hugh School, sponsored by Mott Community College. Mary Ann Kost teaches the JMG class at Hamady High School.
