Hamady High School

Ms. Martin and her 5th hour class at Hamady Middle High School have been learning how to grow their own food in the greenhouse. Starting in February, Ms. Martin and her students have cultivated and sold plants as part of their very own fundraiser. The plants are being sold for $5 each inside the greenhouse.

Ms. Martin shared, “We’re raising money for an end-of-year cookout and to get more supplies for the greenhouse.” Additionally, the class aims to start a community garden this summer, where community members can come and get fresh fruits and vegetables.
